  • Review - Mirror Bright Detailing Spray

Had a chance to use this newest detail spray today. I used this after a wash and only on the exterior paint.

The bottles are plastic and they have a real nice look to them.

Here's the front of the bottle

Here's the rear label which dictates how to use it in the interior and exterior. Pretty self explanatory on how to use it.

    One after

    Thoughts:

It has a nice fruit/berry scent to it. Nothing overpowering but pleasant. Meguiar's knows how to get the scent just right.

It has a nice spray nozzle that mists the product onto the paint fairly well.

Spreads out nice and is easy to buff off.

Leaves a slick and glossy finish behind.

Really nice product. Will make a nice addition to one's arsenal of detail sprays.

Thank you Guz for taking the time to put this review together, and for taking the easy to see, clear photos.

    Have a Great Monday!

How does this compare, in your opinion, to Last Touch and/or quik detailer?

Re: Review - Mirror Bright Detailing Spray

I have run out of D155 but I primarily used it for clay lube. With D155 it can streak at certain temperatures. I haven't used quik detailer in years. Lately I have been using M34 and Mirror Bright is right up there with it. M34 as well can sometimes streak and be a little harder to wipe off at certain temps. Mirror Bright is not supposed to streak but I didn't notice any issues when buffing it off. It buffed easier than M34. Slickness and gloss are on par with it.

Here are a couple more photos after giving these cars a wash with D114. Added some real nice gloss and slickness.

Mine which has M21 as it's protection.

My dad's which has Paint Protect 365

Nice review Guz. Thanks for taking the time to share. Did you get a chance to try it out on an interior?

Thanks Nick. You actually just reminded me about using this on the interior. I have some light dust on the interior and I will give this a try instead of using Quik Interior Detailer. I will report back.

How does this compare with ultimate quikdetailer? I notice the mirror bright doesnt advertise as leaving a layer of protection like the ultimate detailer does. I thought maybe the mirror bright detailer was less potent so u could use it on the interior. Any truth to this?

Re: Review - Mirror Bright Detailing Spray

Mirror Bright is like any other quick detailer on the market. The only difference between this and UQD is that UQD leaves the surface hydrophobic longer than Mirror Bright.

Mirror Bright can also be used on the interior and it works just fine for that purpose as well.

Re: Review - Mirror Bright Detailing Spray

I have almost exclusively moved over to the MB line of products. This detailing spray is fantastic. I agree with the above in its smell, and can absolutely say that it works great on all interior surfaces. Cleans without leaving behind that super shiny look. Keeps the interior of my car looking new. It's a great product to keep in the trunk for touch ups when I'm not home and has pretty much taken the place of UQD in my vehicle. It works great to use after a wash. I'm completely sold!

And although it doesn't have the hydrophobic properties of UQD, it does offer some of it's abilities. So if you wipe your car down often like I do, the effect is the same. I keep 2 bottles in stock, I'd be sick if I ran out...
