    New 2016 Black Acura TLX, Xzilox preapplied, no cost

    What is this xzilox ****? they tried to sell it to me for hundreds, I declined and after buying the car and doing paperwork they said they pre-applied it typically, so he gave me the warranty anyhow.

    The car looks smooth, but not crystal clear like my previous TL's after I worked my megs buffer and Megs pro chems on it.

    I feel like it would look more like the mirror it should if I use my existing Megs stuff and remove the xzilox ****. I have all the pro stuff that's 3 yrs old...

    ALL thoughts APPRECIATED.

      There's nothing smoother than Meguiars mirror glaze after you use ultra cut, ultra finish, show car glaze, then yellow wax. I'd get rid of the other stuff if it's not as smooth as a Meguiars finish.

        It's nothing more than a sealant. You can choose NXT, M21, Ultimate wax or paint protect 365 for a much better sealant.

          Will a light pass with M205 (G110v2) then a clay job remove the xzilon?

            Clay first if needed and M205 should be enough to remove it.

              Thanx Guz, do you think that's the easiest way to remove this ****? Or maybe IPA?

              I want the clarity I had on my 2013 TL after I clayed it, M7, M26 and then M21.

              I just want to get the xzilon **** off the fastest but most effective way, then go thru the proper prep, polish, wax and seal processes.

              p.s. Should I move this post to Detailing 101?

                Not sure if IPA would get it off. M205 will definitely remove it.
