  • Opinions on spot cleaners

Hey guys just wondering if anybody has used the bissell spot clean auto 7786a? Looking for something to get a couple light staying out of my truck seats and get them looking new again. My truck is always pretty clean as I hate having it dirty but this one particular stain was there when I bought the truck and I'm not sure if somebody spilled a little bit of pop on it or if it's a sweat stain. Any help would greatly be appreciated thanks in advance.

My go to is Simonize Upholstery and Carpet cleaner. Works well, and doesn't seem to fade material. It is a spray foam, with a brush agitator. Spray on, agitate, and blot off. You can also vacuum it off with a wet vac. A few years ago it did a super job on hot chocolate spill on light gray velour car seating.

I do not have any experience with the more inexpensive style spot cleaner machines, so hopefully others can chime in. They certainly look like they could be a useful piece of equipment to have for detailing.

Meguiar's also offers our Professional Detailer Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning System which will offer more stain removal power if your standard aerosol foam carpet cleaner is not working to removal the stain.

It appears the OP is seeking opinions on spot cleaner/carpet extractor style machines.

I bought one of these spot cleaner machines before and I don't think they work as well as they say they do. I've found that my own muscle works better and costs a lot less too.
