  • D115 wash clay wax in one step?

Have any of the regular D115 users here tried using it as a clay lube? ONR users are always raving about how you can wash, clay, and wax in basically one step. It seems like you could do an amazing job with D115 and a clay bar very rapidly. I use it at 4:1 ratio most of the time, which would probably provide the requisite lubricity. Any suggestions? The biggest concern would probably be whether or not the formula would degrade the clay. Maybe a synthetic mitt or towel might be more immune...I'd love to hear thoughts from everybody, and particularly Mike and Nicholas on this. Thanks guys!

It could work. Nick or Mike can answer that.

Perhaps the wax within the product would not allow for surface contaminants to be removed by the clay bar. Hopefully Nick chimes in.

I think I recall hearing that it can break down your clay? Or was that D114?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Yeah, I figure that the solution will probably degrade a traditional Clay bar over time. Particularly at a stronger dilution ratio. Hoping a synthetic clay mitt or towel will hold up over time. Looks like I have a little testing to do!
