  • Changing of the guard

With my new role and added responsibilities here at Meguiar's, I will have less time than I wish to commit to MOL moving forward. I will certainly not be absent from MOL, just less noticeable. As a result, we want to announce that Nicholas Winn will be taking over Administrator responsiblities here at MOL, effective immediately. Nick has been with Meguiar's for five years, starting in our Customer Care Center and then moving on to our Event Marketing Team where he has spent the past year. During this time Nick has also conducted training programs for store managers at various retail locations. In each capacity Nick spent the majority of his time educating people on Meguiar's products and their proper use. Troubleshooting, assisting, recommending, guiding, educating - it's something Nick does very well and it made him a perfect fit to step into the role of MOL Administrator.

Nick will also take over facilitation of our Saturday Detailing 101 Classes and Thursday Night Open Garage sessions when both resume in 2016. In fact, many of you already know him from the numerous TNOGs and Saturday Classes he has already participated in.

A detailer at heart, Nick has some pretty good "car guy" chops in his background. He's definitely a truck guy but he appreciates vehicles with limited towing or off road capabilities as well! His custom truck took the PPG Best Paint award at Goodguys Orange County back in 2009 so, yeah, he's got a pretty good idea how to make paint look great!

Please join us in welcoming Nick into this new role!

Congrats Nick, I look forward to getting to know you better.

And Mike - don't be a stranger to MOL!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Welcome officially Nick! (With Nick's recent increase in posts on MOL I figured a change was on the cards....)

Thanks for all your efforts to date Mike! And as Davey said, don't be a stranger here on MOL!

Congratulations all around. Mr. Stoops will miss your omnipresence on the forum guiding us with your all knowing skills and just not just those skills in detailing, but your passion for assisting folks on a one-on-one basis. Speaking as one who has benefitted from your expertise.

Welcome to the "not-so-new, new guy". Looking forward to picking your brain...ouch....
