  • Detailer plastic & vinyl coating on tires question

Ok so I realize the spray coating is not for rubber tires, but I sprayed some on my tire treads just to test it out and it sure looks pretty. My question is what is the worst thing that can happen by putting a light coat on clean tire sidewalls?

Biggest thing I can think of would be not allowing the sidewall to breath or vent .

It's durability is not that long so I doubt it will have any negative effect.

Have you thought about investing in a tire gel like D163?
