Excellent stuff i love the Nxt Wax 2.0, Tho i heard that if it rain's within the first 12hour's after you apply it will run off can anyone confirm this?

NXT Tech Wax 2.0 is a fully synthetic polymer so it does require some time for those polymers to fully cross link and bond. Depending on temperature and humidity, the full cure time for the cross linking can be anywhere from 12 to 24 hours. If the product is applied and the vehicle is almost immediately exposed to a torrential downpour, it most likely will be compromised to some extent. But that same very heavy rain will remove virtually any carnauba wax, regardless how new or old the application, so it's sort of a wash (no pun intended). A light to moderate rain shouldn't cause much of a problem, however, as a good bit of the cross linking takes place pretty quickly.

This is true of any cross linking synthetic polymer sealant, however, as the basic chemistry of these products is pretty similar. Note that we said "the basic chemistry", meaning the cross linking function of a wide variety of polymers is essentially the same. That does not mean that all cross linking polymers are the same, or that all sealants are the same, etc. Just that, well, cross linking is cross linking and the process always takes a bit of time, regardless the polymers used or the final product of choice.

Bottom line: apply a thin coat, let it dry fully, wipe off the residue with a clean microfiber towel and enjoy. While it's best to avoid immediate exposure to rain if possible, you shouldn't be overly concerned about it.

Sometimes it's nice to see the wax repeling rain on the paint.
