  • Newbie recently stung by a detailing bee

    Hi folks,

Long story short: I recently bought a newer car and started to prep my old one to sell it.
While checking out how to do stuff like paint touch-ups and clear coat restoration on the internet, I stumbled on the training videos of Meguiar's 5-steps car care and that got me very interested to learn more.

That was quite a surprise for me (and for others close to me) since I had always been quite ignorant, and blissfully so, about all things related to cars and mechanics.
But something about bringing out the shine of a car paint just struct my artistic nerve I suppose so here I am.

I've just tried a few weeks ago for the first time to apply rust repairs to my old car and got surprisingly good results (thanks in part to extensive researches over the net).
I even patched the bumper who had a huge crack.
I'm ready to tackle the next step: detailing and paint restoration.

I'm glad I found this forum since a pretty much all of my freshly-put-together detailing arsenal consists of the Meguiar's products lines.

I live up north in Canada and I don't have a garage which means that re-paint season is already over for now.
That gets me ever more paranoid than usual about not screwing up the work done so far.
That might shows up in my questions.

    I'll see you guys around,

    Crazy Vinny
