  • Hello from Dubai

Greetings All from Dubai in UAE.

Been passionate about cars since i can remember, and keeping them like new. Needed to find away to keep my Ride looking great all year around especially in these Arid conditions of the middle east. Car literally gets sand blasted everyday and with Water being very precious and the restrictions on usage especially washing cars at home one seriously needs to take care to protect the paint. Almost 50C everyday and probably about 55C with the engine running paint takes a beating. Had terrible swirl marks plus scratches which were an eye sore. My first encounter with Meguiars has been nothing but positive. Paint and the car has gone from been bad looking to great with the 5 step process (Washing,Claying, Compounding, Polishing and Waxing) Hopefully with the support of the forum I could better my efforts. Plus keen to start this a business to help people keep their cars looking great.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Welcome to MOL - I traveled to Dubai and Abu Dhabi about 4 years ago and saw a lot of really nice and expensive cars that were in need of some serious care! Your climate is definitely not "car friendly". Best of luck in starting a business there to help people get their cars looking good again. You'll find a wealth of good information and a lot of helpful people here in these forums.
