    lower front folk

    engine cover
    oxidized

    scuff
    more swirls up

CVO models are produced in Harley-Davidson's York, Pennsylvania plant, where touring and Softail models are also manufactured. In each model year

    moving to paint!
I was told it is Painted with 23 carat gold leaf flames

these are hand crafted machine with hand painted....gold in the paint got swirl up from improper washing techniques

    more swirls

    side box

    tank

CVO models feature larger-displacement engines than the mainstream models, and these larger-displacement engines make their way into the normal "big twin" line

    tank area

    side cover

    more from side

scratchhhhhhhhhh on the hand painted golf paint

alamak aka OMG!!! this is gold paint....means Gold in the paint

    front wheel cover

    rear tail swirls

    tank

    side box

reminding myself of 23 carat gold leaf flames

my client would have opted to any detailer which can complete in 2 days time....and he told me that these detailer will use some kind ofacid (degreaser to get the oxidse out) or even try Autosol Chrome and Metal Polish

I beg to differ...i has OPTIMUM METAL POLISH ...and etcs....but I am not gonna to let my ego go before me....and so i opted for polish and I had it hand polish for 3 months

I may not afford to buy a bently or rolls royce but definately I will find time to detail this CVO, it is hand built, limited production, hand painted.....gold paint!!!! it is so premium almost cost USD 100 K to buy it new here!! My buddy whom happen to own this CVO, got some issue and I took my sweet sweet time to detail this ride......ENDED UP 3 MONTHS!!! no machine is design to do Bikes.....esp chrome parts

I used alot of elbow grease , enduring many many bruises and cuts in my hands especialy countless inbetween my nails....ouchhhhhh
it only takes a little patience and plenty of PASSION!!

I could have opted for aggresive cleaner, or even try Autosol Chrome and any other Metal Polish but not for this collectible Master piece
so I opted for meaguars M205 polish (cutting level of 4 )

I wouldnt want to smear or cause any abrasive , thin hair line or scuff polishing marks...initially was enjoyment ...later when my finger are all cuts and bruises....it hurts!
I would say 'slow and steady win the race' and i took over a period of 3 months

I repeated weeks and months later

it was no short cut......each part I did 3-5 passes over a period of 3 months

sharing with you some of the picture taken in process

Very nice job, with my own CVO I would be heartbroken if it looked like that.

Did you do the work with a DAP or by hand? I cant imagine getting my PC on the forks.

yes my friend is very heart broken at first
and he gave me as much time as I would requires! As long as get her restores ...... So much so he gave me a powerful scoot after I did this job

i do not have the luxury or having a lot of stuff to try
i had to figure out what works and try it at the least hidden area ! esp when I was told that the paint was hand painted with Gold ! OMG! How do I get her repainted Just in case of scratch! So I kept aside all my aggressive stuff and begin with the least aggressive polish I had ! More over it cost almost USD 100K here

it didn't come out prefect or overnight!

it was through lots of hard work , toil and countless bruises while trying to save her! And I kept telling and reminding myself ! This is a collectible piece and gonna be in history!

Thank God it came out well and ::::T::::
