  • Megs A12 cleaner wax??

First of all, megs cleaner wax is something that's always in my garage and that's probably not going to change. But I was at the store the other day and saw mother's carnauba cleaner wax (don't worry, I went with the old favorite). It got me wondering though, nowhere on megs cleaner wax does it mention carnauba. It was also formulated long before synthetics like UW were popular and the formula supposedly hasn't changed much from the original. So I was wondering what in megs cleaner wax gives the paint its protection. I know the term wax can be used loosely. I've always had great results with it and will continue using it, just curious and was hoping I could find an answer!

Yes, it's primarily carnauba wax in Cleaner Wax that gives protection. But any carnauba wax on the market has other ingredients - silicones, basic polymers, etc - that contribute at least in some level with both gloss and protection.

Ok great. Carnauba seems to be an advertised selling point in other products so I thought it was strange that a12 didn't mention it. Thanks for the quick answers!
