I painted my car and this is what happened
1. Striped the original paint off down to the bare metal
2. Applied epoxy primer
3. Applied PPG high build primer and block sanded
4. Applied high build primer again and double check the block sanding
5. Applied 3 coats PPG Shop Line JBPX base
6. Applied 4 coats U-POL 2872V acrylic clear coat
7. Wet sanded up to 3000
8. Rotary buffer and M105, M205
At this point the paint looks perfect. The next day is when I saw the haze. The haze is not noticed by the novice eye. I see a haze that was not there yesterday. I applied Mequies #7 and the haze was gone. Inside of 24 hours the haze had returned.
How can I stop chasing my tail?
