Re: Ultimate Quick Wax...the best/easiest way to apply and remove?
For the Ult quick wax, there should be no removing. If so, used way to much.
I wash the car, do a quick dry lap, then do a final dry lap spraying the uqw over eveything and wiping around.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

I posted this thread about my procedure. Michael Stoops also chimed in.

There are basically two ways to use Ultimate Quik Wax:
1) wash the car as per usual and give it a final sheeting rinse; spray UQW onto a panel (just a couple trigger pulls while sweeping across the panel should suffice) then dry with your Water Magnet waffle weave drying towel
2) on a clean and dry car, spray a couple trigger pulls in a sweeping motion onto the panel, spread with a microfiber towel, flip to the dry side of the towel and give a final quick buff to remove any residue
In either situation, less is more - don't overuse the product!!Michael Stoops

In the past, I have used a microfiber covered "bone" sponge to apply Ultimate Quick Wax. I find it easier to manage than a folded microfiber towel. I thought that the "bone" might be absorbing too much product. However, it shouldn't absorb more than a folded microfiber towel, right?

The only thing we don't like about using the "bone" is the limited usable space on it. A folded microfiber gives you 8 clean sides to work with when cleaning the surface with a quick detail spray. It's certainly not as big an issue when using a spray wax on an already clean surface, but for anyone thinking about doing this with a QD or a waterless wash like Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere, think again.
I've got a couple of those microfiber bones hiding in the garage someplace..... I might have to give this a go real soon with my UQW. Hmmmmmmmmmm......Michael Stoops

Re: Ultimate Quick Wax...the best/easiest way to apply and remove?
I use two MF towels - one to apply and one to remove UQW.Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Thanks for the response and the suggestions. I should add that I do use microfiber towels when applying and removing Ultimate Quick Wax on my Harleys. Even though a Harley may be "bad to the bone", like Michael said...the "bone" doesn't work in tight places and a Harley Davidson has a bunch of them.
