  • White letter tire with whitewall showing

I noticed my new tires after I cleaned them they have a whitewall behind the white letters. What would cause this?

What did you use to scrub your tires with?

If you use to aggressive of a product it can bleed off from your white letters. Is that what your referring too?

    Have any pics?

Sorry I forgot to say, to MOL dslofti

It sounds like the cheap dollar store product you got is WAY! to aggressive, you need to dilute 50/50 with water and respray and lightly scrub and then rinse as you go. Sometimes the cheaper stuff can actually cost you more trouble or more money in the long run. I've use Purple Power for many years and have always dilute 50/50 with water and scrub very well and rinse good.
