An old neighbor I hadn't seen in years came home to visit his fam and parked in front of my house while I was outside this weekend.. We said hello and I watched him walk down the block.. I didn't waste any time getting a closer look at how filthy his car was.. I was in shock! Lol. This car might just be the dirtiest daily driver I've ever seen a normal dude rolling around in. It looked like it had never ever been washed. Ever.

I thought it'd be fun to see what some Wheel Brighter would do to his rim. I gave it a good liberal spray, then sprayed some more.. Then scrubed it a bit with a soft wheel brush and was shocked to find out they were chrome wheels underneath all the grit and brake dust. [I had guessed they'd be clear anodized aluminum before all the crud came off]
Then I scrubed the tire with D143 and figured why not go ahead and finish it off with some Endurance gel to make it really pop and make the rest of his car look ridiculous. Lol.

Btw, I didn't even tell him I'd be doing this to his car. Lol:p

Can you tell which wheel I cleaned?

Hey look who's car I spotted parked down the street... Well it's been 9 months and it looks like he Still hasn't washed his car! Lol.
The front wheel still looks cleaner than the rear wheel. That's the power of Wheel Brightener for ya

My wife is the same way. She actually told me she doesn't see the point in washing a car. I could go into how the dirt can damage the paint in the long run, but she doesn't want to hear it.

So a couple weeks ago, I was washing my car when the neighbors lawn crew came and hosed it with dirt and dust before I could finish. I was upset, but decided to surprise my wife and do her car. It was so filthy that it turned the second bucket in the two bucket wash brown. I was just finishing up cleaning the last wheel and putting on tire shine when she walked out into the garage and saw what I was doing. She said, "I can't believe you wasted the water and your time washing my car. What were you thinking?"

Arghhhh. I was already in a bad mood over what happened to my car and I wasn't prepared for what she said (after spending an hour and 45 minutes doing a car wash). Thankfully, she apologized later. At least her car looked really nice for a couple of weeks (black 2013 Ford Escape 2.0 Turbo)!

Hahaha no. But I love my wife more than anything and I have a feeling outside stresses (work) were manifesting themselves in her displeasure for me having washed her car. She is just not into cars; to her they are nothing more than tools to get a person from home to work and then back home again!

LOL, you just ignore your wife. You keep her car clean. You have to ride in it to. My wife when I met her thought hers was clean because she vacuumed it a once a year and ran it through the car wash a few times. She still doesn't always understand why I clean them so much, but she did in her own way (or at least I am going to take it that way) say every time she as some with her, whether a co worker or friend, they can't get over how clean her car always is for a mom. They always say, my car isn't this clean. My husband will never clean my car. So, I think deep down, she does appreciate that I keep her black car shinny, even though she may not realize I keep it swirl free, lol
