The last TNOG of the year and we had a great time. It's always rewarding to watch someone who has never used a DA buffer actually get dramatic results with it the first time out.

    How's this for swirls?

    Wonderful, right?

The first test spot - a single pass of Ultimate Compound on a W8207 yellow polishing pad. Still a couple of rids, but those can be addressed with additional passes as needed.

Time to put the buffer in the hands of a student and dial in his technique.

    Teamwork!

The end result! By the way, those are not RIDS in the lower right of the image but smeared product.

With the light on the paint, the swirls are totally gone!

The last headlight restoration of 2014! A little sanding, a little buffing....

... and it looks like a brand new headlight!!

    Great work once again!

Looks like the Z3 was low on orange peel after the swirls were obliterated. That's always nice to see!

      Nice job on the BMW.

That looks like an M Coupe to me though.
