    Hello Everyone

    My name is Chris and I recently purchased my first new car. I'm new to the world of detailing and paint care and I'm very excited to talk to guys who are also passionate about having a nice, shiny car. I have bought several meguiars products after having bad experiences with body shops (they left swirls in my paint) and I have to say they are the best out there for the price.

    Hi Chris and welcome to MOL. This is a great place to hang out and learn how to correct those swirls and keep your car well protected from the elements and looking its best at all times. There is a huge amount of information here (it can be a bit overwhelming at first) and a lot of experience that everyone is eager to share.

                I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Accent SE hatchback about 6 months ago. I have to say that being a broke college kid, I have it easy with economic cars, these cars now look so nice for such a low price. I know it's not a high end car but I'm still very proud of it. It has a beautiful deep blue pearl color that I love to keep nice and shiny. Unfortunately some girl texting and driving t-boned me a month after I got my car and it had to be repainted so I joined this forum to learn about removing defects (caused by the body shop) and keeping my car's paint in perfect condition.
