We were joined by several first timers who came by to hang out, observe, and learn - awesome!!
First lesson - get rid of these swirls!
BAM! That's more like it.... but what kind of car and what process?
Just a little Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, that's all. After testing both the DA Microfiber System and Ultimate Compound on a yellow foam pad, we opted for UC on foam due to the absence of haze. Yep, on this car the paint was soft enough that the DAMF System created more haze than we liked - but that softer paint also means UC behaves like a superhero! Here we keep a close eye on the car's owner, Roland, as he gets acquainted with the DA buffer.
Tommy removes a bird drop etching from his IS-F
Speaking of bird droppings - the hood of the Porsche had a couple of areas with etchings and very deep scratches. For those areas we employed the DAMF System and followed up with M205 on a foam pad to remove the haze.
Lined up for learning!!
