  • wax content comparison

I feel like this is an age old question, but I can't find it on here anywhere.

I am wondering what the ratios and ingredients are in the different waxes. For instance, we obviously know cleaner wax has some paint cleaners in it, both chemical and abrasive. What cleaner content is there in gold class and ultimate?

Are any of the consumer waxes a pure wax/ sealant without cleaners?

I am asking because topping something like ultimate with a wax with cleaners seems like it would take off the previous coat making that process useless, so a better understanding of the products will help in decision making.

Yes. Waxes such as UW, NXT, Gold Class, M26, M21 and Deep Crystal Carnauba don't have cleaners in them.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

      ^^^^ Exactly this.

To break it down even further

Synthetic - Ultimate wax, M21, NXT

Carnauba - M26, Gold Class, Deep Crystal

It is always recommended to apply a synthetic first then top off with a carnauba.
