What do you guys use for products, the professional line or consumer line products?

I like the idea of buying the proffesional series because its more bulk and it makes me look better when they see what im using on the customers car.

However i do an average of 3 cars a week so...on the other hand using consumer products allows me help the customer keep up with the detailing of there car. If they like the result and want to do part or all of it themselves i can show them what i use.

    I use both.

The Professional line has great products and generally works out more economical. But the Consumer line still has some good products and they're easy to pick up at a local store.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

What you use really depends on what you're trying to accomplish, how the paint responds, etc. Ultimate Compound should never be underestimated just because it's from our consumer line. It is directly based on M105 but it won't create as much dust as M105 usually does on a DA and in most cases it's all the aggressiveness you need. A great step up from there is the DA Microfiber Correction System and, again, D300 creates almost no dust while still cutting extremely well.

We're inclined to be less concerned about what the customer sees you using than their reaction to the finished product. A detailer with decent skills can do amazing things with Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Wax while a hack is not going to be saved just because he's using M105 and M205.
