  • Long time listener...

...first time caller. Hey, wait, that's not right. Long time lurker, first time poster!

I've been a car nut since before I could drive and I suffer from IHTBB syndrome. Joleat, just what is IHTBB syndrome, you ask? It's a rare disorder that can sometimes be fatal (for the ones who put fingerprints on your clean car). Whatever the car may be, It-Has-To-Be-Black. Of course, this is both a blessing and a curse. When the car is clean, all other cars pale (haha) in comparison. When the car is dirty (read: all times that aren't immediately following a fresh detail), it's a true eyesore!

Anyway, to make a long introduction short, I'm happy to be here! I've been a Meguiar's fan for a long time. I'm OCD when it comes to products, so I buy Meg's exclusively. I'm a Meguiar's DA user and look forward to learning more about the craft that is car care.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Welcome! I also have IHTBB, as I've had several black vehicles and I've been unhappy when I didn't. It's not hard to avoid the eyesore-when-dirty problem, if you can avoid rain, slush, mud, dirt, grass, gravel, etc. On the other hand, consider the Mad Max Interceptor. In the first movie, it was arguably more beautiful because it was clean, but in the second movie, it was arguably more badass because it was so dirty Ergo, when your black car gets dirty, think of it as Max's Interceptor until you can get it cleaned back up!
