  • Nxt or Ultimate on plastic

Yesterday I took advantage of the temperatures being down into the 80's polish my Grand Cherokee and my wife's Outlander.
As I was going I wondered: Is there any reason to NOT use these products on the black or chrome plastic, or the headlights?

Do they add any UV protection to the Plastic headlights?

It is not a question of restoration, or what product could I use. It is the effect of this that I'm putting on the rest of the car

NXT or ultimate would be fine to use on the headlights. It will add a layer of protection on them. I have not used NXT in a long time but it may stain black trim. Ultimate wax in liquid form will not stain black trim. Consider a trim dressing like ultimate black.

Yeah I just thought that these video's would help.

Just got through reading you process of the S.S. and aluminum trim piece's on your corvair, very nice job!!

I used to play around with polishing metal to it is truely an art and enjoyable, you did a great job of your how-to and with the pics.

I used to use Milbro products and wheels on a craftsman bench grinder too, and I know what you mean about the material coming off a new buff wheel's.
