    Re: 1968 charger (in progress)

No issues with overheating with no fan shroud!!! I drove this car in the phoenix heat when it was 110 out (sweating in vinly yuck) and she does creep up to 200 to 210 at alot of stop and go traffic, but once I get going she gets back to 180 where my T-stat is set at. I put in a fan pusher so I will see how she does in the summer again. Right now the fan pusher drops the temp by 10 degrees when I turn it on in the stop and go traffic so she sits at 170 with fan constantly on. Beefed up the wiring setup also in the car and have a 120amp alternator waiting on the brackets to come in since I plan to put some tunes into the car just need my amp and componenet speakers to hook up to everything is pre wired when I was restoring 0 guage all the way back to the trunk, speaker rca, wires all there just need stuff lol...

YES, DD it is believe it or not so I do have my usual door dings at the edges and what not thanks to me and others. I drive her 3 to 4 days/week the only time I dont drive her is when on my work days. I have driven her 12 hours straight with gas fill ups with no hiccups she plans to make a big drive to vegas in april for the mopar nationals!!!!!!

Not going to enter? I've seen alot of paint on some of the so called show cars! Swrils and marring all over the paint and some light hologramming. And I along with many others on here think you have a real nice car! But yeah drive that bad boy out there!!!

            Re: 1968 charger (in progress)

Well, I disappeared for awhile and remember back in 02 or so I tried the Meguiars no. 7 formula and used it by hand and thought to myself, 'what a pile of **** this polish is' It never amazed me like other polishes at the time and thought it was some kind of gimmic or old forumula that never worked. Well fast forward 2014 time frame with the Meguiars D/A orbital in hand I figure I would give it another shot and boy did it surprise me!!!!! Using 'hand' vs the 'D/A orbital' is leaps and bounds in difference the No. 7 in my opinion was meant to be used by a orbital of some sorts NOT BY HAND thats for sure. It made my car shine better than the Ultimate Polish in my opinion. I topped it off with NXT 2.0 and it made it even more like a mirror than it did before with Ultimate Polish and NXT 2.0 combo. WOW, and just WOW this D/A orbital is impressive I would love to maybe try their 'true orbital' one day just not yet.
First pic with no. 7 and NXT 2.0 out in sunlight is impressive!!!

These pics are after No. 7 applied and in the garage mind you I have done the UP in the garage also and did not turn out as nice as No. 7 did.

These shots are after No. 7 and NXT 2.0 combo I should of gotten even closer to take the pics to show the mirror shine it was so much better than the UP/UW combo...

You really should enter it in the show. Trailer Queens are nice and all, but who gets more total enjoyment from their car - the guy driving the truck with is car tucked in the back of the trailer, or you, sitting behind the wheel all the way to Vegas with the sound of big ol' V8 rumbling away? Easy answer, really. And everyone at the show will be blown away that this is actually a daily driver! That will make a bigger statement about your MOPAR dedication and just how much of a car guy you really are.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Have not posted in awhile since I been posting on my Facebook instead, but I been playing around with different combos and I have always come back to the 105, 205, and M26 combo and occasion I would the No. 7 and love these combos. they don't last as long, IMO, as say a NXT 2.0 wax, but to me the shines is more, 'natural' and not so 'synthetic' Couple of pics were taken after 4 months in the garage since last wax and the rain was most recent.

Car broke down on me coming back from Vegas from the MATS so she went under surgery, lo. People loved It though so I took pic of people taking pics of my car and chatted with them. People asked who painted my car and told them a backyards painter did it in his garage and told them its how you take care of the paint that’s important for beauty.Told them it’s a daily driver and they couldn’t believe it, showed them the little nicks and what not, but couldn’t believe how good the paint looked overall.

So on occasion I like to top these off with No. 7 just leave it on there kinda weird how things work, but this was a night shot and couldn't believe how well it turned out yes the lights do give it a nice 'bling' to it, but I do contribute the bling to the fact light has to have the ability to shine off something nice I mean it wouldnt shine this nice if it was dirty, right.
