    That is brilliant work

    What was your procedure?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Come on Derek, spill the beans here. What's the car, what process did you use?

For those of you who don't know, Derek is the guy who takes care of all the Meguiar's corporate vehicles, Barry's personal cars, as well as a few local collections, and plenty of highly discerning other customers. As his signature line points out, he has headed our Ford/SEMA Team since 2004, which means keeping a team of 4 or 5 guys in line as they prep and maintain 50 or more cars for Ford's SEMA display. He probably doesn't want us to say this, but he's one of the most accomplished detailers in the country but more importantly, just an all around great guy.

Thanks Mike for all the great complements, but you know using the best products (I use Meguiars exclusively) is a huge part of producing a perfect finish. On this project I did 3 blocking steps with various Unigrit sand papper 1000-3000, then used various Unigrit sanding discs both sanding and finishing discs. Polishing began with M105 with a MF cutting pad, finished with M205 and a MF finishing pad and topped her off with Ultimate Paste Wax.....more hours than I care to mention.
I will post more pics when I get to my computer. Thanks for your interest

          Man that's some ugly paint!
And as usually you make it all purdy!
          Great job.
on another note: I'd love to shadow you some day.
