It purely novelty/status item. In the 101 class, I learned wax is wax. Other than perception and the bottles used, are there elements of boutique waxes that merit the high dollar.

Also, when will Barry create a wax which he personally delivers? I wouldn't mind him swinging by my pad.

Oh man... I thought it was just a typo... It is quite expensive! I thought Zymol Royal glaze and Solaris are expensive... Quite shocking... I am more than satisfied with my NXT 2.0, Collinites, Mothers, and Carlack 68, which put together still costs only a fraction of one container of Mitchell and King.

          I'm a skeptic...

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

To be fair.. what are you actually paying for?.. the wax itself, or the 'package'?... I remember reading an article a year or two back about a limited release of Ferrari books.. The cheapest was 'only' about 10 thousand dollars.. the most expensive was covered in diamonds on the front cover and fetched a sum of about a quarter of a million..

Some rich Enzo owner somewhere will buy it...

you make a good point. who exactly is going to buy this, because the customer that can buy a $97K wax probably doesn't wax their own car? And I don't think even the highest end detail shops would shell out the cash because the value is in the product packaging and delivery, not the wax. Guess it is good advertising. Their other stuff is way out of my leagues. I am with ffboy on the NXT 2.0, I could get 5,367 bottles which would last more than a life time.

Too much for a wax.. Sure, nice container with all those diamonds and everything... but still...

For that price the wax should include a full shop and detail set up
Even the best cars look like junk when they are not clean
