Curious if anyone has tried this product seen on TV? Looks like a miracle used on vinyl, leather and headlights. Been my experience, if it looks too good to be true.....probably isn't true.

Re: Wipe New? anyone try this?
All season dressing is great and is not too good to be true....I have seen the commercials for wipe new and would not waste my time....Also the detailer line aerosol plastic and vinyl coating is amazing....

If you're looking for something that does what wipe new claims to do do, try Refinish Restorer. Guys on ChevyAvalancheFanClub highly recommend it, it lasts up to a year or longer if applied correctly. I've had it on for 5 months now and my truck lives outside and the product has NOT wore out yet. My cladding still looks wet, glossy, and rich. There's like 30pgs of photos on the website CAFCNA from members backing up this product. As a detailer, I back this product up (Not Wipe New)Always searching for the best.... Keep it country!

Re: Wipe New? anyone try this?
Wipe new is not a "silicone dressing". It's more like some kind of acrylic clear coat. It's probably more like clear fingernail polish than anything else. It's extremely hard to put on your vehicle without streaking. Also it comes with a warning not to get it on your paint and a pair of rubber gloves to wear while using it. In my opinion it's a total waste of money.
I've also tried every other "bumper and trim renewer" on the market and like ChevyNick says "it lasts up to a year or longer if applied correctly" is the best you're going to get out of any of them, except one.
If you can't figure out which one is the only one that's permanent, just check my signature!

If by amazing you mean it last about a week, is greasy, and attracts dust like crazy, then you are surely right about that!

From our Forum Rules:
11. Continuously breaking the rules to disrupt the online community will result in you being banned from the forum with little or no warning.
12. No Commercial sales or samples from competing companies. One post trying to hawk your wares and you will have banned yourself permanently.
13. All messages posted to MeguiarsOnline become the property of Meguiar's Inc. and may not be deleted without first obtaining permission. Deleting messages without permission will result in immediate banning from the forum.
Just so everyone knows, RandyBoone is being banned due to a serious infraction of Rule #12 as shown above. His signature linked to a product that he claimed to be a consultant for, and he even stated above "If you can't figure out which one is the only one that's permanent, just check my signature!" That's a clear case of "trying to hawk your wares" and therefore a permanent ban.Michael Stoops

I learned a good rule of thumb many years ago, and it works to this day. Anything that is labeled "As Seen on TV" is prima facie snake oil. I have yet to see anything disprove this assumption.2021 BMW X3M Competition - Donington Gray
2020 Chevy Bolt - Arctic White
2019 Fiat 124 Spider - Brillante
Some look better than others....
