    Microfiber Towels?

What microfiber towels would you recommend, Meguiars, Griots, etc. to apply and wipe off QID? There are to many choices and i want to do this right. Thanks Guys

    Re: Microfiber Towels?

For things like QID, or an interior dressing, glass, and those kind of things, I usually just use the Vroom brand ones from Target. ( I think they changed the name this season). But just the Target ones, that come in like a pack of 6, 3 white and 3 gray or something.

Although my parents found some no-name brand ones at like Bed Bath and Beyond or something that have very long soft fibers... seems to get into the cracks a little better, but not as absorbent, so needs a follow up wipe.

So as you can tell, no one answer.... as long as you are carefull/gentle on any clear plastic (display, or gauge cover, etc), you really cant have a towel mess up the interior.

Recomend cobra all the way. Expensive, but well worth the price. Once you start using microfiber towels you never go back to using cheep microfiber.

I use both "expensive" and "cheaper" MF towels.

The expensive ones are for the paint, whilst the cheaper ones do the interior, glass, trim, tyres etc...

I agree with everyone else. It also depends on what you like. I am perfectly content with the bulk Sam's Club ones that I use for most things and use the better MFs for wax removal.

I like to use older towels for the interior as with QID and whatever dirt and dust you pick up sometimes the towel can get pretty dirty. I will do the first swipe with a clean towel on any plastics like a nav screen or the gauges.

I like Adams towels for paint and Costco MF towels for everything else. I have many Cobra towels too, but prefer the Adams towels.
