What cleaner are you using?
I would clay bar the glass, then use the 3 MF towel method. Spray glass cleaner, 1st MF towel to rub in cleaner, 2nd towel to wipe off most of the cleaner, 3rd MF towel to wipe off and polish any remaining product or haze.
I dedicate green MFtowels for glass only and wash them separately from all others. This ensures no spray detailer, polish or wax is in the MF towel fibers.
Yeah, how have you been doing it?

There are some glass towels on the market that work real nice. I get mine from Beaver Stripes in Phoenix, Arizona. The glass towels are light blue about 12X12 and cost about 2 or 2.50 each along with spray way glass cleaner or mist of Meguiars glass cleaner.
Cleaning glass to be streakfree you have to use the less is more rule.
Just a light mist of glass cleaner on a cheapo Walmart microfiber ( i use megs glass cleaner concentrate) wipe the glass to remove smudges, dirt...etc, follow up with a separate dry MF to finish off....usually crystal clear once I'm done.....my glass on my vehicles are soo clean, I can detect any finger prints, water spot easily.
Not sure if you really need glass towels just for glass when a 25 pk of Walmart or in my country...Canadian Tire microfiber towels can be had for $10-15...and they work very well on glass for me....![]()

I always use Stoner's Invisible Glass from the can. Then apply like STRIFE said. I switch wiping direction after every pass-left and right from top to bottom, up and down from left to right, etc.
I use Stoner's Invisible Glass in the pump bottle, no one carries Meg's Glass Cleaner locally. I've found that foam glass cleaners dry really fast on a hot and humid day.
