    Quick Interior Detailer Cleaner Wipes?

I am a new user of Meguiars products. I want to use your quick interior detailer cleaner wipes on my 2010 silverado, but when i read reviews it seems like everyone says it streaks or causes water spots on the dash and door panels. Can you educate me on this? Is this product good to use or is it a problem? Does it have a low shine? Thanks Guys

    yes it can streak.
wipe with QD then follow it with a towle to make sure it doesn't streak.
I personal use a damp towle and that streaks to.
After the detailing is done and I'm doing the windows I'll check the interior for streaks and wipe them as I do the windows.

I'm not a fan of wipes, i always end up using a separate dry microfiber cloth to "clean up" the excess liquids.
I prefer using 2 MF cloths and interior detail spray....spray one of the MF cloth directly wipe areas clean, finish off with the dry MF cloth
While wipes may seem to be convenient, when you look at it....they really aren't. I will never buy wipes again

    Agreed.

    This is what I use:
    Vinyl and plastic: Ultimate Protectant
Leather: Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner and Conditioner (I prefer spray)

Apply with a yellow pad and to reduce the shine, wipe off with a MF. For the products to work properly, you should wipe down the interior with a moist MF and a household cleaner.

I also prefer QID spray over the wipes. Just use a MF cloth and yes it is a low shine finish.

QID is a fantastic product, and any streaking that might occur with the wipes is really down to the application process more than anything else. It's sort of odd, really, since so many people view wipes as a convenient way of applying all sorts of products, yet the very nature of them means application is even more critical than with a spray version of the same product. That's because the wipe itself has to have enough product in it to cover a sufficiently large area to make them "convenient" for the user in the first place. That also means you've got a fairly heavy load of product when the wipe makes initial contact with the surface.

The spray version, when lightly sprayed onto a folded microfiber towel, is incredibly easy to apply, still offers the same light cleaning ability (maybe even more due to the nature of microfiber) and won't streak or smear at all. Keep in mind that, although it offers good UV protection, it isn't really a typical dressing along the lines of our Natural Shine, or even Armor All, 303, etc. It is meant as light duty cleaner that is safe for use on all interior surfaces, including delicate navigation screens, as long as you don't just spray it and forget it.

Yeah, I really dont know how you could get streaking with the QID spray on the textured vinyl. You may get some on clear plastic, or even gloss plastic, but a second dry wipe should get all excess.

Some dressings may run, or show spotting if they get wet/rain on the door panel, etc, but QID doesnt really leave much behind on the surface to do that either.
