Unhappy Stain from ultimate liquid wax

So I recently purchased a 2013 satin pearl white scion frs, so I thought it would be a good idea and protect my investment and purchase cleaning products and wax. So I went with McGuiars new car cleaning kit. I cleaned and waxed the car at night to make sure I did it during cool temps and in the shade. After a lot of elbow grease i called it a night. Then the next morning I came out to inspect /touch up anything I may have missed and noticed. A yellowish gold stain located on the front bumper close to the wheel well. I tried to clay it off. No luck. I tried applying some detail spray. No luck. So then I walked around and seen the same color stain on the opposite side. This was smaller but same color. I took it to a detailer and he said he has never seen anything like this in his 30 yrs of detailing. It's all smooth to the touch so by no means are they scuffs n the cars only a few months old.

Ill try and get pictures up. Anyyyyyyy help is greatly appreciated. I'm I'm the southern California area if theres any detailers out there that can restore the paint I can pay and drive to you. Thanks!

Could it be tire dressing spun off the wheels?

I wonder if this was there prior to you cleaning. The detailer should have been able to tell if this was above or below the clear. I find it strange that its in the same spot on both sides of the front but no where else on the vehicle. This leads me to believe its under the clear and was there prior to you waxing your car.

I too found it extremely strange that it's both kinda in the same general location. He believed it was stained into the clear. I'm constantly giving my car walk arounds on every trip and wash and I never seen these before until I used the wax.

Ill try and post some pics today

Look forward to your pictures as Ultimate Wax is white and a yellowish, gold does seems odd colored stain. A Detailer with 30 years of experience couldn't tell, so if a new car a trip to the dealer might be in order. Perhaps a defect covered by warranty?

Ultimate liquid wax dries clear. It shouldn't have stained it.

Sounds like the dealer was trying to hide some. You can try meguiars ultimate compound before taking it in

Here are pictures as promised. I will take pictures of the opposite side later today once the sun comes up. The other side it much lighter smaller and higher up

If not the wax I don't know what else it could be. Any local detailers to my area interested in taking a look?

I thought the same thing too, but to prove this wrong I put some of the wax on a paper towel and let it dry over night. Sure enough it that same color as on my car

I think its something under that paint and the clear. Just doesn't seem right that its no where else on your car but there where they could have tried to hide something and didn't do a good job and went thin on a repair.
