What else can I use on My windshield to help protect it from waterspots. I have been using RainX ever since the 90's is there anything better.
Any success with Ultimate Liquid wax being put on windshield.![]()

Stick with Rain X and use Ultimate Quik Wax in between applications of rain x.

UQW on the windshield? Would it streak?
I myself find RainX extremely hard to remove.
I like Aquapel better than RainX. However it does cost more.

What I do is just mist a towel with water and RainX removes sooooo easily. Like for example, after you wash and dry your car, apply RainX, then a few mins later or whatever use one of the towels you just dried your vehicle with. It removes very easily. And UQW won't streak if used correctly. Just a couple squirts on the windshield is good enough imo.

Aquapel is great stuff, and lasts longer than Rain-X. Enough to make the price difference worth it IMO.

Some look better than others....
I too like Aquapel better than RainX.
With RainX, I get streaks when it's raining at night. Not with Aquapel. Well worth the price, especially if you buy it on Ebay.
I totally agree. I put some aquapel on my windshield in may and water still rolls right off my windshield when I wash my truck. I haven't put any other wax or more aquapel on since then. It really is good stuff. I thought it was more work to apply it than rain. You're not supposed to let it dry to a haze like rain x so you have to be quick about it and if it does haze up I thought it was a pain to remove. It was my first time using it so I don't know any tricks to remove it if it does haze up, but all in all I'm more than happy with it and will continue using it for a long time.
thanks for all your help... I will stick with the RainX. Aquapell just seems too expensive. If I accidentally don't apply it right then I am out of one applicator stick.
Don't understand why aquapell don't come in bottle like RainX
