Hi. I have a very large 5th wheeler (please see my user pic). It is a a year old and I keep it year round at the beach. Should I spray or hand wax? I am not interested in shine more for protection. Thanks

Love Meguiars.
While a proper liquid or paste wax is going to give you the best protection and durability, you may be very pleasantly surprised at just how durable our Ultimate Quik Wax is. Being that it's a spray wax it's very easy to apply and remove - in fact, there's almost nothing to "remove" in the traditional sense of waxing a vehicle as you just spray an area, wipe with a clean microfiber towel, and then flip the towel for a final wipe.
If you do this once a month, immediately after washing and drying for example, you can provide quite a bit of protection and a very nice shine to go along with it. Plus it won't stain black plastic trim (might actually make it look better, in fact).
The downside is that over time you're still going to run the risk of accumulating embedded dirt that will make the finish lose it's luster. At that point a decent cleaner or even a good cleaner wax, applied with a DA buffer, will do wonders to bring the finish back.

We usually use a liquid wax(megs rv and marine cleaner wax) and apply with a da polisher it gives a long lasting bead. If you spend some time on it now it will save you alot of effort later especially if its gelcoat which can be a pain to restore if its oxidized.
Even the best cars look like junk when they are not clean
I favor the Ultimate liquid wax used with your favorite DA. Love the fact I can get this stuff everywhere and not worry about staining
