Which line? Ultimate or Mirror Glaze?

Currently i use meguiars ultimate line up, top to bottom, however ive been very curious about the professional line, and if it is better in any way?
it has obvious cost benifits, however if it doesnt measure up to the ultimate line then i wont bother...
is there any specific components that would be better?
im considering using last touch as my new clay lube since running out of my smooth surface lube.
    any thoughts are much appreciated

P.s i do most of my work with the G110v2 and 7" 2.0 soft buff pads

Nothing better or worse, just different goals, etc.

You may want a small sample of #105, but UC is often prefered by DA (though some people have no issuses with #105 and a DA).

    #205 is very nice.

There is no Ult. Wax in bulk. But there is UQW/UQD.

Different soap is up to you... Mild Clay or Smooth Surface Clay... just different options.

do you like UP or M205 more? and which is more user friendly with the DA
I run a small town detail company, and the bulk option sounds nice, is there any better outcome in using products designed to be used together, such as UC, UP and UW??
would UQW just be #135, and UQD be #34? or is last touch more recomended.
i currently use smooth surface, contimplating getting two serperate once im out, mild and aggressive.

Pretty similar... #205 would be good in bulk.

All of the products can work together, none of them bond better to one or the other.

    UQD = #135

UQW = D156 Synthetic Spray Wax ( I think that number is right?)

Last touch would be better for claying... probably not as much need for UQD.

#21 synthetic sealant would work like ultimate wax, right? just wouldnt have the versatility of being used in the sun?

I've never used the Ultimate line, I use the Pro line (Mirror Glaze). I have so many more options with the Pro line. It really depends on what you are trying to achieve. Also, larger sized products are nice too.

I've heard great things about the Ultimate Line. seems like another easy to use product from Meguiars.

While that is true (nearly anything can be found on a well coded search engine) it doesn't contribute much to the thread.
Car detailing is usually specific to the situation so asking a question that has already been asked is sometimes necessary to illustrate your perspective and get answers to your unique situation.
auto_addict was also asking a question involving opinions, not facts. Opinions change with time and a search engine doesn't always provide satisfactory results. To google something like "When was Abraham Lincoln born" would be more appropriate for a search engine as it is a fact as opposed to an opinion.

To get back to the OP. As Murr stated, neither are overall better than the other; especially for a consumer. It doesn't hurt to experiment with new products, but if you have all of the ultimate line and are satisfied with your results then there is no need for other products.

if your running a business go with the pro line.
using over the counter stuff might tell your customers that your not a pro, imo.
    I love 105 & 205.
Leave the OTC to the enthusiast and since your a pro go with the pro stuff.

Re: Which line? Ultimate or Mirror Glaze?

I'm trying to transition to the pro line, as now i'm gonna be detailing alot of my friend's cars as a small buisness.

I came across this thread through google search engine.

Its nice to see a guide as to what Mirror glaze product = what Consumer lineup

For example this thread helped :http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...l-surprise-you!

    HyperWash (foam cannon)
    Basic Clay bar
    Last Touch
    Deep Crystal paint cleaner/SwirlX/ScratchX/Ultimate Compound
Deep Crystal pure polish/ Ultimate Polish
    Ultimate Liquid Wax
    X-press Spray Wax D156

The Above is what I use currently on my small cleaning buisness which doesnt' include my products that I use for the interior.
It would be nice if someone could suggest me a guide as to which product in the Mirror Glaze/Detailer line would meet my needs for Bulk buy.
Unfortunately, there doesnt' seem to be an Ultimate Liquid Wax yet in Bulk.
And I'll actually be making use of the DA Power system in the next month, so that may be a factor in determining what product works best for me.
