I am from Northern NJ (maybe too much info :P) and I am used to washing my car, but one day my father got me a test tube of wax after I washed it and I was amazed as to how much farther it took the shine! now I am pretty keen to waxing after every wash to improve the shine and prolong the life of the paint.
I joined this forum to hopefully get some tips on how to refine my technique so to speak.
Welcome to MOL. If you wash your car on a regular basis and apply the wax correctly, you should not need to wax after every wash. Perhaps a quick detailer to make the paint pop.
