I think a wipe on walk away sealant would be most realistic. I would like to see an improved D151. I doubt a coating is in the works since that would sort of negate the reason for waxes and sealants which is a big part of Meguiars. Perhaps a pro version of UWWA (ie bulk concentrate).

I bet the new products will be something that may not necessarily something sensational... More functional and practical, but with quality and meguiar's own unique touch. Not really that easy to improve on some new products or to revolutionize any existing new product, but then who knows?

Who needs another wax? I mean, I still have Nxt 2.0 and it works just fine and looks great...

    1. I think they are going to come out with a synthetic, clear sealant that can also be a trim detailer much like TurtleWax ICE.

    2. I think they will come out with a Window Sealant (like RainX)

    3. I think they will come out with a new car soap that will really be about the same but be put into a more elegant package... and they will market it full force ==> and why not if it will generate plenty of $$$?

NXT 2.0 while no longer the most revolutionary product from megs, it does work great. No real issues with it.

Item no. 1 sounds like a newer or improved version of ultimate liquid wax, UQD or UQW, and it could be a huge improvement.

Item no. 2 UQW works well on car windows and windshields, a fully dedicated glass treatment that really repels water like crazy would be even better, something that will complement the Perfect Clarity Glass cleaner.

    I'll second this suggestion.

The one product I would like to see is wheel specific version of Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere. It's probably psychological, but I can't get comfortable with using the current UWWA on my car's wheels.

After reading one of Joe's (Superior Shine's) threads on another forum, it looks like we may be in for a new finishing polish!

Read post 43, and then post 56:

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Hmmmmmm, I am a fan of all the above ideas.

I do think a coating is at least in the making though. I don't think they negate waxes and sealants but offers a longer term alternative.

    Welcome to MOL, firmans!

For the record, we've merged your new thread with this one on the same topic, and then moved the whole thing to "The Break Room" for further discussion.
