    Question What are "Towel Marks"?

Hi everyone, I've noticed the phrase "towel marks" on the back of certain Meguiar's products like Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Wax saying that they can remove or hide "towel marks". Now I was curious as to what towel marks are and what they look like so I can see if I have these on my car's paint finish?

Are they like fine clear coat scratches? Because if they are, then that's what I have on mine. Also, apart from removing them or hiding them with Ultimate Polish or Ultimate Wax, how do you go about preventing them in the first place? Thank you all for your time.

Just buy a DA and you can have many marks repaired and not visible. It does wonders. I bought the kit a while back and my customers think I am a miracle worker. LOVE IT!!!!

Just buying high quality towels, using them folded to keep even pressure, and common sense things like that are what minimize it.

Yes, using clean and high quality plush microfiber towels should minimize any markings. Also like Murr said, folding your towels twice allows for both even pressure and 8 sides to work with.
