Horse tack and Meguiar's products

Does anyone have any experience with Meguiar's products on saddles and other horse tack? The products work so well on my cars that I was thinking of trying them on my wife's equestrian tack.

Which leather products are recommended for this application?

While our leather care products are perfectly fine to use on equestrian tack, the important thing to keep in mind is that the leather used in that application does not have the coating that automobile leather seating has and so could easily darken the leather. We see this quite a bit when people use these products on home furnishings and rarely is it applied evenly, and therefore the finish appears uneven. Knowing just how expensive some of this tack can be, especially a fine hand tooled saddle, we highly recommend you do some testing in inconspicuous areas before jumping in and treating expensive pieces. You won't actually damage the leather in the traditional sense of "damage", but you could negatively impact the appearance, and that can be just as annoying.
