Now.....you just spent so long on the car.........a friend sees you and drives along side for a way.......stops together at the same workplace....." you need to watch how your polishing the car, you can see swirl marks"

    Like........****!

Couldn't see any myself & was told they were only noticeable to him because he knew I'd spent so long doing it.

I did come across a thread here though, after the fact, about not polishing like a mad man......slowly does a better job to allow the product to disperse.....I'll try it next time.

Still ultra happy with the look I achieved.......you do notice the areas you have missed in the sun, as in the crevices.....looks like it will be a five hour job next time.

My specialty here lately is on black cars. Cut your work in half and invest in the Meguiars DA kit. It comes with everything you need, including instructions. My customers love this process and it only takes at most 2 hours. Move it in straight lines not circles, move your machine slowly and wipe off in straight lines, not circles. The results are outstanding. The sealant will protect your paint. I have been only using this for two months, my customers say that their cars look like the day I did the process. Check it out and Good Luck.

Something to apply weekly after the wash...or is Ultimate Quickwax okay?

Glaze or Pure Polish (no cleaners or abrasives) can be Deep Crystal Pure Polish, M07 Show Car Glaze or M05 new car glaze, sort of like Ultimate Polish without cleaners. They work well on dark paints, especially black, they also hide swirls well.

Ultimate Quik wax is good for weekly applications after a car wash. And it also hides swirls quite well, really boosts your exisiting wax coating.

It's a great feeling when people stop and ask what you look after the car with along with the stairs on the road.....yeah yeah, I know...only a car enthusiast would understand!!.....washed and UKW yesterday....went out last night & it rained on the way home.... you know that feeling!!

So,this morning, drove to Autobarn & picked up some Ultimate Quick Detailer & some Scratchx (for the day when/if...more when, it's needed) (yes, I'm a true convert to the product!!)

Tell you what, the UQD is awesome......waterless wash at its best.

UQD is awesome indeed, a bit pricey though... but when you return to your usual "conventional" detailer and then use UQD again, you will see why... It adds depth and a bit of polymer protection. Initially, one might find it nothing special, but as it cures (it has instructions to let the user let it cure 12 hours) the difference in feel and look is noticeable. I find that as I apply it, it has a different rich feel, instead of the typical watery feel of traditional detailers.

True, you can feel the differences......off topic, I have been hunting for one Meguiars sticker to place in the back window of my new ride.......any idea how to get one? Please?
