    Can this paint be saved??

My gf's car is in need of some work. I ultimately believe that it needs to be repainted as it looks like the clear coat has worn off in multiple areas. However, (1) what are your opinions about trying to correct the paint? (2) and how would I go about doing it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Upload your images to a photo sharing website such as photobucket, or imageshack.
View your image on a website, make sure that you are fully zoomed in and looking at a single image.
Right click the image and in Firefox (not sure about IE) select "Copy Image Location"
Then open a new tab and paste this link to be sure that it works and you only see a single image.
If that worked, click on the picture icon (available in the quick reply section 3rd image to the right of the smileys button).
Than paste this very same direct link into the URL input line and select "OK".
