How do I remove polish and wax stuck in all the chips and scratches?

I tried the IPA solution just now and it didn't seem to do the trick but I had a meguiars rep come into work the other day and he recommended using the ultimate compound and demonstrated it on my car, It helped more than the IPA did but still didn't get rid of everything. It also seems to be getting a little better over time though so I might try using the UC on a really badly affected area and if it does not go well I will just keep washing until it goes out.

Are you sure its not primer you're seeing?

Just seems strange that it would be so hard to remove the white spots.

Did you end up trying clay to remove them?

I use a big horse hair art bruch that I have trimmed down to make the bristles stiffer. I find that a tooth brush , no matter how soft it is will sometimes leave scratches. Frum the look of the pictures, perhaps all the white in not from the product and may be primer showing and only paint will fix that.

I don't think it is the primer because there where some scratches before with the primer showing and it was a grey primer not white. Also these scratches where always there it was only after the polish and wax that it had showed.
