Leather starting to dry up

I have a 2006 Cadillac CTS with black leather. It has been a long, hot, busy spring/summer. I have not did anything with it in about 6 months, and i can tell. The leather in spots is started to flake in a few small spots, and wrinkles in a few others. So i ran out and bought some gold class rich conditioner. There isnt very much info on the label, and i havent been able to find anything on here after 10 15 minutes of searching.

Can this be restored?

Should i let the conditioner sit for a few minutes before wiping?

Please help. Any input would be appreciated.

Yeah, I like to apply the conditioner, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off excess. If it seems to really soak up the conditioner, maybe do an extra application or two. You dont want to soak the leather, but if it seems to all absorb right up, you could add some more.

As far as your leather being 'restored', cant really predict that, but should help.

you can use some leather clear coating, like ones made by Fiebing, for flaking
