Best way to protect rubber trim

Just got a new toy, a 91 Mustang GT with 24k original miles with original paint. Question is, the rubber quarter window trim on these cars is extremely fragile (tends to dry out) and luckily on this car it is perfect and still soft & pliable. What is the best thing I can use on the trim to keep it nice, soft, and protected?

I love Gold Class trim detailer on my rubber window trim. Although ultimate protectant lasts longer, it just seems like the gold class trim detailer works better at softening and conditioning the rubber. I can tell this because when I apply it on my car (big noisy station wagon) the noises and creaks through the cabin are greatly reduced.

Thanks, thats what I was looking for. Im more concerned with protecting the trim than making it look good, want it to stay nice and soft. Ill pick some up today.
