    Water spots on monte carlo

Here's the skinny..I own a 2003 Jeff Gordon Edition Monte Carlo which has decal flames on the hood. Yes it came from the factory that way!! Do I dare use UC or Scratch X on the decals? Do I just DA between them?

    Thanks in advance.

Probably best to avoid them, and be carefull with the DA around the edges.

Keep the abrasive paint cleaners like UC and ScratchX off of the decals - tape off the edges if you have to. If the decals are glossy you can wax over them, and probably should. Just beware of wax residue along the edge of the decals. A soft toothbrush and a little Quik Detailer should clean that up if you do it right after waxing the car.
