Is there fake G220V2?

I just saw a guy trying to sell a brand new Meguiar's DA machine on auction web site...
However the photo says G220EUV2... I have never seen this before... Is it the European version or Meguiar's has never made such thing?
Because the price is just half the normal price I am afraid there might be sth wrong...

I have 1 of those down here in New Zealand a G220 a sweet machine to use.I have had mine for about 2 to 3 years
I got one of the first ones to arrive here in NZ from Meguiaes
Thay sell for around $450.00

That's a legitimate tool, no worries. If you can get a great deal on it, then good for you. Just remember, however, that if you're purchasing a pre sold tool from someone on the other side of the world and you have any sort of issue with it whatsoever, you may have zero recourse to get it taken care of. Odds are the seller won't even pay for shipping to replace it if it gets damaged or if there's a problem with it.

The major issue is that Meguiar's HK is selling the G220v2 for over $250, but the guy online is close to the price of the machine in US. Being an electrical engineer myself I would say I am electrically inclined and good at handling machines.
I will think about the pros and cons carefully.

BTW, will Meguiar's repair my machine if I pay for shipping to and from USA?
