UC and Scratch's?

I'm working om my Dad's truck, and did a couple of test spot using UC and a Cyan pad. I did remove most of the defects, but still can see some scratch's. Some of them I can feel with my finger nail others I can't feel. Would M105 do a better job of removing them?

M105 is slightly more aggressive, so yes it would do a better job at removing more severe defects.

But the scratches you can feel with your fingernail - there's probably no hope for those unfortunately..

It depends.

Are they swirls or RIDS (Random Isolated Deeper Scratches)? From the sounds of it, they're RIDS and using M105 can only improve it so much. If the RIDS aren't that deep then probably M105 will work but if they're deep then there might not be a way to fix it. Or wet-sanding but that's a pretty advanced procedure.

Agree with Davey g-force here, if a scratch catches your nail it's not too likely to polish out completetly
