    Speedy Prep towel

Taking a pre taping break and figured i make a quick post. Got to use my new speedy prep towel tonight and i cant think of a reason to touch a clay bar again. If you are on the fence about it give a try I love mine.

Between the new SPT and Meguiars MF kit i picked the perfect time to get into detailing.

Looking to pick one up too. Anymore feedback on these? Any issues with marring? Did you get the fine or medium grade?

I'd love to hear more about your experience as well.

I heard from some experience detailers that those prep towels are mostly effective on flat horizontal panels.

I have 2 of the fine grade & one med grade.
I haven't used the med grade one yet so I cannot comment on it.
The fine grade works just like reg clay when i prepped my 2011 Impreza & 2005 G35. I used ONR as a lube and had no issues with marring. I found it to be very easy to use and there was no need to re-mold or reshape, just flip flop the towel...or dunk in a bucket of clean water...or ONR solution if you like.
I don't think I will buy reg clay again....but knowing how I'm like....I'll prolly buy a couple bars just because.
I know people will frown on the $50 price tag per towel (ADS price) but it's a real time saver....pretty sure it cut my "claying" time in half easily.

Plus SM states you can use it about 100 times and if you drop it just rinse it off, can't do that with clay and that is why I am considering purchasing 1 fine and 1 medium.

Perhaps Meguiars should look at producing their own version of the SPT?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

I completely agree!! I'm hoping we see something like that when they finally unblur the 2013 teaser picture!
