How Soon To Wax a New Car?

Car is about 45 days off the assembly line, and I'm not sure how soon to wax it. It's 2013 Ford Edge, Ruby Red.....
Dealership recommended waiting 6 months, but the car is stored outside in the California sun. Also I'm sure the birds, tree sap, and elements will not wait the 6 months. So I would like to wax it as soon as possible without damaging the new paint.
Any recommendations as to which Meguiar's products to use on the new car.
(We did not have the dealer put any paint sealant on the car).

You can wax right away, nothing to worry about.

Assuming you have no defects fo fix up, I always like this for a quick detail:

1. Wash - Gold Class soap, 2 buckets, Grit Guard if possible.. good quality towels, mitts, etc.
2. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay kit
3. ColorX
4. wax - Nxt 2.0, or Ult. Wax if you want durability.

5. Maintain - Ult. Quick Wax after future washes.

+1 I agree , I prepped and waxed my car the day it came off the truck. No dealer prep or sealant applied
