Still like good old #6

I was a little bored today, so I did my daughter's car with #6 (which I hadn't used for a while). The paint needed just a little cleaning, so I thought this might work well. It did. Paint looks great and has a really smooth feel to it. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures until she took it to work this afternoon....

So is #6 the same formulation as #12? Both are called Cleaner Wax. I have some #12 and use it every now and then. An under-rated product for sure...

M06 Cleaner Wax and A12 Cleaner Wax are certainly related, but not the same formula. M06 is more aggressive and so will do more correction, and should show more darkening of dark colors, than A12 will. Incidentally, A12 Cleaner Wax was the first consumer product we ever made, dating back to 1973, and it's virtually unchanged since then. Still one of the best selling waxes in the US, too.

M66 and D151 will offer more cut than M06.

Hey Michael, as i mentioned in a few posts...I recently picked up a gallon of M66, read lotsa good things about D151....and now I really want to buy that as well.
I do not detail for $$$ so I think I have lotsa product onhand...do I really need D151? My cars as you may know are in near new condition....
I'm thinking I'm letting this detail hobby get a tad out of hand??

STRIFE, if you're keeping your car in really good shape, you don't need every product we make!! If you've got M66 you can do wonders with it to keep your car looking really good, and top it with something like Ultimate Wax if you like, so there's no real need for you to add D151 to the mix.

MOL is here to support our customers and end users, not to try and sell you "one of each"!! When you run out of M66 (and that gallon should last you a while!) then maybe consider buying a sample bottle of D151 from an online retailer that sells them and try it out. If you fall in love with it, then order a gallon. If you don't, then pick up a fresh gallon of M66 and stick with that.
