But the crystal comes up as best selling and its in the tutriual video demo does it matter its ins the 5 car cycle thing if its not in the cyclemvideo does it mean its not good ?

The DC Polish has been on the market for 25 years or so. The Ult. Polish for about 1... so yeah, the DC Polish is much better selling, and older articles wont have the UP.

Deep crystal is an older product that has been around for a long time. It's a good product. Ultimate Polish is brand new, and is a result of much research and contains some new chemistry technology. It is the superior product for most applications.

koicrazy98, you've got a whole bunch of threads asking "which is better" scattered about, and while we applaud your desire to "get the best", we think you may be oversimplifying things a bit here and hoping for a shortcut to a show car shine. The truth of the matter is, depending on how your working (by hand, DA or rotary) and the current condition of the car the "best" product in any category could be quite different. In the hands of an inexperienced user even our top of the line pro products won't get the job done by themselves, and a highly experienced detailer can work magic with some very basic products.

There really isn't always a true "best" product overall for any category. Yes, we can say things like "Ultimate Wax is our longest lasting, best protecting wax" and that is a true statement. But for someone who prefers the look of a carnauba wax, Ultimate Wax may not be the best wax for them.

Your set final look will play as well.

If you really like deep gloss (almost like 3-D) finish with M205 Ultra Finishing Polish (especially on dark colored modern clears) using black finishing pad.
If you go for maximum gloss/ wet look Ultimate Polish won't disappoint.

Just remember that finishing polish is part of whole process. Surface preparation will determine how your vehicle is going to look. Wash it throughly, clay, use a paint cleaner (if needed) to remove defects, old wax residue, flatten paint surface and provide perfect light reflection.

Sorry if out of topic. I like to ask if I polish the paint with Ultimate Polish, should I clean the paint with some APC in order to remove any leftover polishing oil from the UP prior to apply LSP? TQ!

It will depend on the LSP.
Some LSP require a clean paint. However, if you are using a Meg's LSP, something like UW, a wipe down is not required as UP and UW will work well together.
In addition, I would recommend IPA wipe down rather than APC if needed.

Ultimate Polish does contain a small amount of cleaners, UP is a cleaner-polish. It's more aggressive than both cleaner wax and black wax since ultimate polish is part of the correction process, it's designed to refine the finish left by ultimate compound. Cleaner wax, black/white wax, and colorX are all-in-ones, cleans, polishes and protects in 1 step., so with these all-in-ones, they are all immediately compromised. Because they are packed together, there aren't enough cleaners to make it aggressive, there aren't enough polishing oils to add that deep gloss, and protection while still decent, isn't optimized. So no, it isn't as aggressive as ultimate polish. Ultimate polish is closer to swirlX when it comes to aggressiveness.
