      Sorry somehow my message did not get saved. Currently i have a porter cable 7424 xp, with a 5 inch backing plate from lake country. My question is do i need to purchase a backing plate from meguairs or will this one suffice? Thanks!

        It should work just fine but the W67DA backing plate will make your microfiber discs run cooler and make it last longer.
